THIRD ACCESSKENYA GROUP AGM IS HELD

August 31, 2010. The third Annual General Meeting of the AccessKenya Group, which was held on August 31, 2010 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre was a success. The well attended event saw the Group's shareholders unanimously approve the KSh. 0.30 dividend per share, the acquisition of the remaining 30% of OpenView Business Systems as well as the endorsement of the new Board Chair Mr. Daniel Ndonye and Michael Turner as a Director. The shareholders were upbeat during the Question and Answer session as their questions received satisfactory answers. They also commended the company’s progress noting it was due to the hard work of staff and the Board.read more
ACCESSKENYA GROUP ANNOUNCES HALF YEAR RESULTS FOR 2010

August 18, 2010. The AccessKenya Group has delivered improved gross margin and Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (“EBITDA”), reflecting the beneficial impact of the investments we have made and continue to make in our fibre networks, as well as the refocusing of the IT business on high margin recurring revenue service contracts. EBITDA for the half year has risen from KShs 163 million in the same period in 2009 to KShs 251 million in 2010 - an increase of 54%.read more

ONLINE PRE-EVENT TICKET SALES FOR 2010 ACCESSKENYA AFRICA CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE

July 19, 2010: The AccessKenya Group will provide an online service for spectators wishing to buy pre-event tickets for the 2010 Africa Concours d’Elegance. This will be the first event in Kenya to have pre-event online ticket sales service. Online tickets will be available from September 1st and this will be one of the hi-tech enhancements for this year’s car and motorcycle beauty contest.
