AccessKenya Group started in 1995 as a Technology Solutions Company, borne of brothers David and Jonathan Somen. The Company was begun operating under the name Communications Solutions Ltd (Commsol) and was largely a one stop ICT shop for corporate Kenya.
In 2000, the Somen brothers sought to address the prevailing business need among the first growing corporate sector in Kenya against the heels of first advancing globalization – internet connectivity. David and Jonathan seized the opportunity and made it their objective to provide reliable, affordable, scalable and tailor-made Internet Solutions to meet the changing needs of the corporate Kenyan market.
