Jonathan Somen - Co-Founder and Managing Director
Jonathan graduated with a degree in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University. He commenced his career in Kenya where he joined Kilimanjaro Mineral Water Ltd as Chief Operating Officer. He later joined the Telecommunications Sector where he worked for a number of companies including Primus Telecommunications Inc. In 1995 he started up Communication Solutions Ltd (Commsol) and thereafter in the year 2000, launched AccessKenya. He has been responsible for the strategic growth, direction and of the company since its inception.

Kris Senanu - Managing Director, Internet Division
He graduated from the United States International University - Africa with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration, Kris joined the Internet Industry in 1996. He has over 10 years experience in the ISP industry in Kenya. His main areas of responsibility include developing and managing the Sales team, Account management and Customer Care departments. He is also responsible for brand recognition as well as new product launches.

Peter Ndirangu - Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining the Group, Peter was the head of Corporate Finance in charge of Credit Control, Taxation, Fuel Hedging, Procurement, Treasury and Corporate Finance at Kenya Airways. He has also worked with Kenya Shell Limited, Uganda Shell Limited and PriceWaterHouse Coopers among others. He brings to the Group 17 years experience in Financial Management. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.

Raymond Macharia - Chief Technical Officer
Raymond Macharia has more than 10 years of experience in the ISP industry, where he has primarily been involved in building advanced carrier and enterprise network architectures, designing and building solutions for the internet service provider and enterprise.

Isabella Segina - Group Human Resource Manager
Isabella has over 8 years experience in HR Management, having worked locally and in the UK. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Masters - MSc Human Resources Management from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Prior to joining AccessKenya Group, Isabella worked for The Nairobi Hospital as HR Officer. She has also worked at Gibb Africa Ltd, The Oxford Brookes University in the UK and Unilever Kenya in various related capacities. As Group HR Manager, Isabella is central towards Providing HR leadership and support to Access Kenya Group by developing strategies, policies and systems that cultivate and promote equity, fair treatment and positive employee relations. She also provides comprehensive HR support in recruitment/retention, performance management, staff development and conflict management.

Alice Kirumba - Group Client Service Manager
With over 11 years experience in customer service, Alice has brought emphasis and focus in building service strategies aimed at increasing efficiencies while mantaining high and consistent customer satisfaction levels. Since joining the Group, she has enhanced performance management, employee development and retention capacity. She has previously worked with Airtel Kenya where she served as the Customer Service Support Manager, mainly responsible for implementation of service strategy, performance improvement and projects management among other roles. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a postgraduate diploma in marketing.
